Repairs & Maintenance
Brenwards provides responsive repairs and planned maintenance services, through Partnering arrangements, to local Registered Social Landlords (RSL), annually delivering in excess of 15,000 repairs.
Our flexible and adaptable approach enables each contract to be individually tailored to suit the differing requirements and objectives of clients, whilst also allowing for evolution and improvement throughout the contract term.

Our proactive approach ensures that we have the capacity to match the reactive nature of the repairs, within the individual priority timescales, across a client’s widely spread housing stock, through careful planning of orders and allocation of workforce.
Our highly skilled, multi-trade, workforce and suitably stocked van fleet aim to achieve a first time fix where possible across all building, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and gas works using mobile technology.
Our dedicated void team works closely alongside our clients to ensure quick turnaround of voids, to the required standard, from property hand back through to handover. Our void service incorporates all aspects of the void process including:
- Void Inspections
- Scheduling of works to client void standard
- Key collection and return
- Co-ordination of trades and all works, including asbestos surveys and removal as required
- Gas and electrical testing and certificates
- Any works required during occupation
Our gas team carryout all gas repairs, installations and safety checks within the responsive repair, void and planned maintenance works undertaken by us.
We provide a full service along with the required certification, commissioning and registration.
Brenwards works closely with our clients and supply chain to plan, programme and deliver the varying annual capital works and cyclical planned replacement programmes. Our in-house experience and expertise allows us to deliver planned programmes from inception to completion. We pride ourselves in providing a complete service through all stages of surveying, customer consultation, programme management and actual delivery onsite including compliance to statutory requirements.
Our planning team continually explore alternative products and techniques to provide best value, allowing for innovation and improvement.
Internally our dedicated refurbishment teams annually replace around 250 kitchens and 200 bathrooms in addition to other improvements such as full modernisation works, electrical upgrades and rewires, landlord lighting replacements and heating upgrades (Electrical, Gas and Air Source Heat Pumps).
We offer a wide range of external refurbishment works such as extensions and roofing as well as structural alterations and repairs.
Servicing & Testing
Our servicing and testing teams provide a wide range of services as either part of annual programmes of ad-hoc as required, including: Stock Condition Surveys, Property MOTs, Electrical Testing, Asbestos surveys, Heat recovery units, ventilation, Emergency lighting, Smoke and CO detector testing and PAT testing.
